Monthly Desktop - May

May is at end and so is my desktop theme. I went w/ a Donkey Kong Country and a black windows XP theme (you have to DL it from a site) for a clean look.The Xion player was cool cause it lights up and act to the music. Also I chanced my Steam UI into a jungle theme. Don't know if I mention it before but w/ simply 2 click on my screen, everything dispersers just leaving the wallpaper (and desktop bottom thing if you want it). Also I put it as my Xbox 360 wallpaper for the month as well.. here's a crummy camera pic and about to throw it down on Mass Effect.

So that's it for this month..... Now time to change it again.......

Rockstar Presents new Xbox GTA Expansion: The Ballad of Gay Tony

Long title huh...

The Ballad of Gay Tony is said to focus on the glitzy "high-end night life" of Liberty City. The second Xbox 360 exclusive episode will put players in the role of Luis Lopez.

"players will struggle with the competing loyalties of family and friends, and with the uncertainty about who is real and who is fake in a world in which everyone has a price."

This will be interesting since the uproar of the gay and lez issue Microsoft is having. As always, we'll have to see more info on the expansion at later date. It's said to be out this Fall for 20$ (1600 ms points)

What.. You no likey new TF2 Update?

Ok... W/ the recent release of the S vs S Update, you notice 1st thing is the NEW way to get weapons in the form of not by hitting the achievement milestone for the class, but a random "drop" thing. This is to prevent Achievement farming servers for weaponz and getting an advantage on those who don't have em. Thing is that you MIGHT get the same weapon you already have (This is the weapon I got since the update: Ambassador *New*,Axecutioner, Force-A-Nature, Sandman, Axecutioner, Sandman, Natasha, The Huntsman *New*) and if you wondering whys that? Cause their gonna be an item trading system soon apparently. Also to note this, You can be on a different class and you can get a weapon for a spy. Like I was a Scout and 10 mins in I get the new Spy Gun.

The way you get weapon now is you Play the game. The longer you been playing, the better you chances of getting a weapon increases. It may get rid of the Achievement farm servers but it now open another door, the IDOL Servers (where ppl go AFK for itemz love).

Other noticeable chances is the Domination and Player Icons. I personally like most of the update and the new maps are cool, especially the new Payload Race map. Still, it felt like their something unwanted (like 2 many noobs being snipers!) but still, It's all good in the hood g.

Star Trek, Tickets, Mooooovies

Saw the Star Trek film Saturday and it was quite good. Starts you out right into the action to set up the story plot followed by a good mix of story and action. I won't go further then saying it's worth seeing it.

I also try to keep every single tickets I get regarding Movies, Sports, and other events.

Most of mah Movie Tickets. ( I notice the price increase =( )

There's more to come... Might see Terminator but might not due to it getting a fuken PG13 Rating (Are you happy now kids??!?!).. Then their's G.I. Joe, Transformers, and Bruno (might wait for DVD release).

Should be a Good Summer...................... Hopefully!

Getting Back to Work

I been putting off Char. animation work for a while since I couldn't find a 3ds Max 8 Character Mesh/Rig (all I found was the Max 9 ver.) Well no more.. New month, time to return to work son.

I'm still tinker in Photoshop from time to time per day or week to keep my skills sharp there.

I am still looking for 3ds Max 8 Character Meshes (I want to add the bones to it myself for experience) fell free to post a link or mail it to me. And you'll get credit for it..

What to forge?!

I been fighting myself for a while to make a race like map on sandbox while I was making a Goldeneye Remake. Then I see I made an error and gave myself no room (I'm making it underground fyi) and I wish it had an select all and move feature (you listening Bungie??!!) but it don't so I have to redo it all over. So my race track ideals kick in and abandoned that project for now to focus on the raceway.

I got some crazy great ideals for it and i hope I an implement all of then onto it and make it enjoyable. Stay tune I guess. =P

I also was going to do a Remake of Complex from Goldeneye but I see that the map can't ever be dead on especially w/ the Hidden Walls/Rooms which make it unique. Can't do Facility (again) either cause someone did an very good one in Sandbox and is now in my Files Share (Named: Sand Facility) for DL. Although Stack and Basement are alternatives.
